Happy New Year and Happy Gaming!

First and foremost, I’d like to say hello and happy new year to all of you readers and supporters! Second, I want to say it’s been a looooong time since my last update!

A Look Back

When I initially started blogging, admittedly, I got a little carried away wanting to share all of my enthusiasm and enjoyment with games. This time around, instead of  having 18 updates in a span of one week, I am looking for longevity and consistency rather than quantity.

This past year, I was caught in a flurry of new video games and board games. This was good and bad. I had the luxury of being exposed to many games and in turn, I am able to offer my fair assessment and impression of many games. This also means that I am able to refine my own tastes in games. With so many games, this also means that I have less time to do other things, such as keeping a site updated and consistent.

Looking Forward

With this past year’s experiences and new acquisitions, I am excited to share more of what I have played, learned, created, and experienced. From video games to board games to miniature painting, I am thrilled to share with you all the challenges and victories I have encountered. I am also excited to share with you any new anticipated or upcoming releases, like Farpoint for the PSVR and Kingdom Death: Monster for board gaming and miniature painting.

So whether you’re returning to read some of my posts or stumbling upon them for the first time, thank you for your support! I look forward to a great year with UpDog Games! Happy new year and happy gaming!
